Questions?
Email support@passpose.com.
Where do I print it?
Any CVS, Walgreens, or Walmart photo kiosk. Order one 4×6 print with cropping turned off.
Can I smile? What about glasses?
A natural smile is fine. Glasses have to come off.
Is it really free?
The check, the preview, and retakes are free. You only pay to download.
What if my photo gets rejected?
If the State Department rejects a photo that passed our check, you get your money back.
Do you edit my photo?
No. We only crop it to size. Edited photos get rejected.
How is PassPose different from PhotoAiD, Snap2Pass, and other passport photo apps?
The full check is free before you pay: 11 State Department rules, each with the fix. We never replace the background or change your face. We only crop. $9.99 gives you both the 4×6 print sheet and the digital file, and the refund for a rejected photo is included. On October 20, 2026, PhotoAiD charged $16.99 for a digital photo and $6.99 more for its acceptance guarantee. Snap2Pass charged $11.95 and replaces the background.
Does a person review my photo?
No. The check runs in your browser and shows the result in seconds, so you can retake the photo at once. It measures head size, eye height, background, shadows, light, focus, and more. You confirm what a camera cannot see, such as glasses and head coverings. If the State Department rejects a photo that passed our check, you get your money back.
I don't have a white wall. Can I still take the photo at home?
Yes. Any plain white or off-white surface works, for example a white door, or a white sheet pinned flat and smooth to a wall. Stand about 3 feet in front of it, so that you cast no shadow on it. The check tells you if the background fails.
